CPUT ECP Lecturer/Junior Lecturer (3 year contract): Academic Literacy - Lectures in the field of Interior Design and Architectural Technology literacy, particularly in the ‘Literacy’ and ‘Numeracy’ subjects in the Extended Curriculum and Diploma Programme
- Deliver courses using Blended Learning methodologies at Undergraduate level.
- Operate on Learner Management Systems (on the official University platform) over a range of courses
- Participate in curriculum development and learning design
- Perform academic and administrative duties in the Department
- Participate in the Quality Assurance activities of the Department (Internal and External)
- Participate in research and skills development
- Contribute to community initiatives by integrating community interventions into curriculum design.
- Develop and maintain linkages with industry and professional bodies on co-operative education, new techniques/technologies and research projects
- Assist with marketing and recruitment activities
- Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Head of Department
Competencies - Excellent Communication Skills and the ability to impart and teach communication skills in writing, reading and referencing

- Competencies in coordinating the vertical stream coordination of ECP and 1st year subjects with the mainstream curriculum
